to publish a blog every month full of fun facts and interesting topics...so much for that. The good thing about having your own blog is that you can say just about anything you want and there isn't anyone (except for the you know who) to chastise you. With this in mind I made a decision in the car driving home from my real job...you know the one that pays the bills. I'm not an adventurer so I don't have stories about fantastic places to visit or meals made of food from unknown origins (come on give it a try...yes that kind of food). I haven't had any wild and crazy experiences apart from my life which sets that bar really high. Lets put it this way, when I was a kid and all of the other kids wanted to be a fireman or a doctor or a ballerina, I wanted to be a plain old mother. Guess whos dream came true????? So what can I talk about that would stir men's (and women's) souls and keep them coming back for more? Well, since I have a website, a brush, some paint and some glassware, painting comes to mind. Every artist (I don't know every one of them, I'm making an assumption here) has a style and a process that sets them apart from the other guy. NOTE: from here on in, when I refer to a guy or guys I am referring to males and females.....I'm from NJ you know. To continue, there is absolutely a skill to being an artist but there's also a mindset that can be very mysterious at times. I have alot of questions regarding why and how people do what they do but since we're discussing artists I've decided to make this the topic of my next blog. On that note, if there is anyone out there who actually gets to this page and reads this stuff, I would love to hear why you do what you do and what's your creative process. I have promised myself that I would check back on a daily basis to see if i have any responses and will blog again woth my very own. Stay well and stay real!
